Jonathan has provided psychology support to the English Golf Union and English Women’s Golf Association for the past 10 years. He specialises in providing one-on-one golf-specific performance strategies to golfers of all levels and age groups. Jonathan has also worked with professional golfers from both male and female European Tours, as well as with numerous county teams.
Jonathan was a consultant on the English Golf Partnership Player Development Plan and has worked on the design and provision of several athlete development programs including the EGU AASE programme. He has published several golf-specific psychology articles and is the author of a golf-psychology blog
A former Loughborough University Sports Scholar (for golf), Jonathan has a vast experience within high-level golf. He has played to a scratch handicap and competed in and won internationally recognised amateur events including the Prince of Wales Trophy at Royal Cinque Ports. In addition to Jonathan’s playing experience, he has worked as a professional caddy on the Ladies European Tour. Jonathan is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator and combines work for an international insurance group with a private sport psychology consultancy, based near London.
